1. Data controller

The controller of personal data collected on ligametrics.pl is the operator of the LigaMetrics service. For all matters concerning personal data, contact: info@ligametrics.pl.

2. What data we collect and why

The only personal data we currently collect is the email address you provide voluntarily in the sign-up form. Purpose of processing: notifying you about the launch of the service and sending information about new LigaMetrics publications. Legal basis: consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by subscribing and confirmed by a double opt-in mechanism (the subscription becomes active only after you click the confirmation link).

The service requires no account, does not profile users and does not use data for automated decision-making.

3. Who we entrust the data to

The mailing list is operated by Buttondown (Buttondown, LLC, USA) — a processor to which we entrust email addresses solely for handling subscriptions and delivery. Transfers outside the EEA take place on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC). Buttondown's privacy policy: buttondown.com/privacy. We do not sell your data and do not share it with any other parties.

4. How long we keep the data

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent. You can unsubscribe at any time — via the link in the footer of every message, or by emailing the contact address.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to rectify it, to erase it, to restrict processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office in Poland (uodo.gov.pl).

6. Cookies and analytics

The service is static: it sets no cookies of its own and runs no behavioural analytics. Should that change (for example simple, cookie-free visit analytics), we will update this document before deploying it.
